DENIS PROTEOR December 22, 2004 Hello Joerg, Therefore the title of my exposure to the Photographic Center of Geneva in May 2005 is: "TRI OF the TOURNIS" This title is also that of the one of my manuscripts which I finish. With regard to the fixing I think obviously of my combinations of images and (since my exposure to the Dutch Institute) of the different formats. Thus laid out my photographs go more in the direction of the "internal language of logic" than I want to develop to show my work. I will need a visualization of the gallery (a number of walls, measurements). Being given that I expose each time of new photographs, it is possible that the Center has to finance pullings because many of my sights exist yet only with the state the negative ones or in the form of small sizes which one cannot expose (but I have indeed approximately a million of it), not having the means of making them draw. To "ArtPress" Richard Leydier and me let us prepare you scans (it is true that I have loathing to send pullings by the post office, if not it will be by dispach rider). Richard photographed my exposures in Paris to prepare his text which will be available in April. In connection with the continuations of these two exposures of the month of the photograph: that of Heartgalerie is prolonged until at the beginning of 2005. Maintaining some words of explanation relating to the "SORTING OF the TOURNIS": Not I am not interested in all and yes I operated a great sorting in what I want to represent by photograph, video, text. As you perhaps guessed I seek to clarify the concept of purity. For me, only what is dubious is pure. What remains indefinable, the things which one will never know the origin, it is that the purity. To represent and show such a state of the birth of the forces and movements, I should be located fields where the giddiness is the direction first: the state second, the forest, the mortuary, the treatment plant of waste, the private clinic veterinary surgeon, etc. These fields corresponding according to some axes and certain footbridges which can be indicated by combinations.
